Meet the winners of Lose2Win!

Forex Club announces the winners of the Lose2win contest. It has been fun, thanks to you!

We hope that the contest has conveyed our message well - when you follow the main principles of risk management (conservative leverage size, limited number of trades and trading volumes, limited number of currency pairs) it may actually be difficult to lose money on Forex.

This round of L2W was not without a controversy as some participants have tried to go around the rules. Forex Club responded to these actions (and multiple requests from the participants who respected the rules) and disqualified violators. Speaking of which, after a careful review of the end results Forex Club has decided to disqualify a contestant who has finished third for the violation of the rule 9.3.

Day 5 - The contest is now finished. Congrats to all who participated. You can see the results here. The official results will be announced by our jury on Monday. Have a great weekend and come back on Monday!

Day 4

Contest jury disqualifies one of the contestants for violating a rule about multiple accounts. He is allowed to return to the contest later, but with only one account. Forex Club also adds an explicit provision to the rules that one contest account per person is permitted. It also announces plans to research trading activity of all contest winners to ensure that none of them have violated the rules.

Day 3
Dear L2W contestants,

As we are approaching Friday, let us remind you that all of the rules of the contest, either in word or spirit, will be pro-actively enforced. You can read all of the rules here: this link

Your complaints have helped us to identify contestants those who have used questionable practices. Together we have made the contest more fair and we intend to keep it this way. Forex Club is for FairPlay.

P.S. We are currently investigating activity of few contest accounts which are traded from absolutely identical IP addresses and our best dealers are helping us to identify fraudulent activity.

Day 2

The second day of the contest has just finished. The leader position is still occupied by the same contestant from the US, who has lost about $2,000. His is closely followed by a large group of traders, so a lot can change tomorrow.

There has been some debate about the rules of the contest and the clarifications have been made on the official threads of the contest. Our best dealers are closely watching the contest and we will not tolerate any form of cheating or violation of the rules (such as maximum trading volume limit and the limit on number of contest accounts per one participant).

As you can see, when the rules which encourage a conservative trading strategy make it difficult to lose money. Forex Club reminds you that being conservative in trading can save you money.

We look forward to the next day and good luck to all!

Day 1
It is still too early to see the leaders. Over one thousand of traders have attempted to lose deposits and many of them have actually failed. A US contestant showed the best result - he lost $1290, which is a lot considering relatively low market volatility. A contestant from Russia has shown the worst result and finished this day with over $900 in the green. Maybe he did not know the rules?
Perhaps he should move to live trading right away and so do you.
By the way, did you notice how the rules of the contest are design not to reckless trading strategies? That's a secret why it is has been difficult to lose. So when you trade Forex for real, you should remember that.
The contest is far from over and the next day may change the ranking completely. Late registration will be open until Friday so if you have not yet done so, get in the game for an ultimate trading experience.

Previous Rounds
Spring 2007 Winter 2006

3,000 participants, 20 winners

5,000 participants, 6 winners

The rules of the spring round have been slighly altered in comparison to the Winter round. In order to make it more difficult we have limited available currency pairs to one per day, as well as set a cap on a maximum trade volume per day. Out of over a thousand contest participants not a single one had managed to lose the entire deposit. The first place winner had won with a margin of just $24 dollars! 25% of the contestants have managed to lose some of the initial deposit ($5,000).

The first ever round of L2W contest has attracted almost 5,000 traders and 3 of them have dumbped the entire deposit withing 3(!) days. We did not like that the contest ended so soon, so we announced another round. This is why there are two first, two second and two third place winners. Anyhow, we should try to alter the rules next time so that there is more intrigue in the contest and so it lasts longer. Wait and see what we come up with!
