Hello

RuLang is the language that you need to use to set rumus2 alerts and to write your own customised indicators.

There is a guide to RuLang in the Rumus2 Help pages. However, some people have commented that the guide is very user friendly and we are working on ways of making using RuLang more accessible.

Sorry, not to be so picking but just wanted to clarify, did you mean:

I would be interested in seeing a better user guide for RuLang. Just as a comparison I have a 160 page user guide for MQL4 that contains these topics:
MetaQuotes Language 4

MQL4 quick reference
Account Information
Array Functions
Common functions
Conversion functions
Custom Indicator functions
Date & Time functions
File functions
Global Variables functions
Math & Trig
Object functions
Pre-defined Variables
Standard Constants
String functions
Technical Indicator calls
Trading functions
Window functions

Yes. that is what I meant.

Thanks for the info on the metaqutes language.

As a user of the language, do you think such a long guide is necessary?

IMHO, it all depends on what you need. If you just want to create a pivot plotter a short guide is sufficient, if you want a custom indicator perhaps a little more indepth, and if you want to create a fully automatic trading system then a long guide may be necessary.

A thread for wanna be programmers like me would be a good resource.

There's been posts regarding SDK on another thread (http://fxclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=148); I was just wondering if a RuLang guide is going to be release any time soon?
