What is it like going live?

Can someone tell me, which has opened a live account, what it is like? I want to open a live account but it seems to require a lot of personal data. So naturally I'm a little nervous.


*I should have mentioned I've been trading on the demo account for a while now and feel confident to trade live but a bit put off because of the personal data required to open the live account.

My advice for you is to make sure you demo trader before you go to live trading opening account is an easy thing the data required is not much. Once you ope a live you will be tempted to trade.

Expertshow is correct 100%. You should start with demo account until you get comfortable with the platform and your strategies. At the same time you will notice the difference when you gonna place your first live trades. Stick with your strategies that you worked out on demo. Don't let emotions get in the way. All your information and documents will be stored on a secure servers and will not be shared with any third parties.

I have two live accounts and I can tell you no matter how small the account size the power of human emotions can significantly alter your judgement. Make sure you have a plan and trade that plan. Make even more sure your plan contains good money management\position sizing.



I want to open a live account but it seems to require a lot of personal data. So naturally I'm a little nervous.

Wherever you decide to open your account the prerequistes are the same. I assume it's needed for NFA or IRS regulations.

Don't break the first rule; keep your emotions out.
If you have a system that you've tested and are happy with the results then you should not be nervous.
