Is there a way to change the instrument of a chart in one step, leaving all of the other characteristics of the chart the same?

E.g.: Let's say I have a GBP line chart showing but want to use that screen space for a EUR/JPY chart. The way I do it now is by adding a EUR/JPY chart to that section, and then deleting the GBP chart, so that I have the full space devoted to EUR/JPY. In addition, if the new chart shows up as candles and I want a simple line chart, I have to change that too. Is there a way to skip the deletion step and the step of redefining the chart type?

Hello sexbomber,

I would recommend you to go to HELP in Rumus, find a "Chart window" section. You will find answers on all your questions.

Briefly:
Create a charts of different instruments, and then you can put your indicators on one. After that you can copy and paste all indicators to other charts.

All the best

I currently use the same method (did not know you can copy and paste). Apparently a template function is going to be released.

I was kind of hoping for something like the Java chart in forex.com, where you just select an instrument, and the chart changes- one step. I'm not likely to open an account with them though...they don't let you make small deals as Forex Club does...Still, repeatedly creating a chart when one already exists, and then deleting the old one to regain the real estate can be a royal pain if you're browsing charts for patterns...

Not a problem. Will do that for you.

Thank you
