Hello Traders,

This thread will be dedicated to any questions you may have about the functionality of the ClassicFX trading platform.

ClassicFX is recommended for advanced traders who would like to take the next step in trading forex. While the platform isn't nearly as easy to use as the ExpressFX platform, and we recommend all first time traders to use an ExpressFX practice account when they begin, ClassicFX is still fairly simple and very powerful.

Here I can provide you with any links to information about using ClassicFX:

- http://www.fxclub.com/forex-platform/ - ClassicFX page
- http://www.fxclub.com/classicfx-registration/ - ClassicFX registration
- http://www.fxclub.com/indicators/ - ClassicFX indicators
- http://download.fxclub.com/Rumus2/learn/rumus2eng/ - ClassicFX "E-Training" help menu

Again, if you have any questions about using the ClassicFX platform, please post them here so we can answer and you and other traders who may have similar questions may learn.

Starting with a free account (demo) is the best way to learn trading system. Try it and decide to be in Forex or not :)

Are there any plans for an API (applications programming intereface) for Rumus? I'd love to be able to program IQChart-like scans or define my own conditions that would trigger automated entries and exits.

Hi Trajecto,

Right now ClassicFX uses a system called Rulang. In the platform, if you click on;

- Rulang tab (at the top)
- List of Indicators

This opens up a pop up of customs indicators. You can create new indicators or edit preexisting ones from this pop out.

Another option would be to click on the Components tab (to the right of the charting area) and then click Rulang Editor. This option would show the editor beneath the charting area and allow a trader to create his/her own conditions or customize preexisting conditions.

We've received feedback saying that the Rulang editor isn't the most user friendly feature.

It is possible to set audible alerts in ClassicFX, however these alerts won't automatically enter or exit a trade.

Does this answer your question?

Hello trajecto,

We will have this feature in the end of Feb or in early March.

Thank you,

Hello mayday, thanks for the info! A trading robot is really what I am interested in developing. I would need to be able to enter and exit trades based on parameters I set.
